CitiStructure was retained by Lanson Properties for the construction of this six-story building located on East 58th Street in Manhattan, one of the more affluent residential areas in New York City. The first phase of the project entailed demolition of the existing 6,740sf building that was sandwiched in between two adjacent structures. Note below the tight space in which the heavy equipment must work.

The new building, shown in the rendering at right, designed by architect Edward I. Mills & Associates, will be a mixed-use commercial/residential building. The six-story, 9,840sf structure will house a gallery on the first two floors with the remaining four floors consisting of three independent residences. One residence will cover two floors with a mezzanine level.
The project is currently under construction. CitiStructure has completed the demolition and excavation of the narrow 20 X 100 foot site. Structural steel has been erected and work continues on the building exterior and interior.
